Friends of Let's TKO 5K




The "Let's TKO Melanoma! 5K Run/Walk" is named and held in honor and memory of Theresa, who passed away in 2012. The goal of this event is to help raise awareness about the dangers of melanoma, the warning signs to be aware of, preventative measures and to raise funds for the Melanoma Research Foundation for research, education, and effective treatments for melanoma.

The second annual “TKO Melanoma!” 5k Charity run/walk and 1k fun run will be held Mother’s day weekend on Saturday, May 10 at Creighton's Corner Elementary School. Proceeds from the race will go to the Melanoma Research Foundation.

GSTroopCadette Girl Scout troop 5941 are presenting the second annual 5k race and 1k fun run as their community service project. This race is in memory of Theresa Kay O'Connor who passed away in October 2012.

Please join us in the fight against melanoma as we raise awareness and funds for the Melanoma Research Foundation through the proceeds of this race.
